Mount Royal University

One of my first official illustration jobs was with Mount Royal University back in 2017. I responded to a call for illustrators for a consent colouring book project and myself and one other artist, Ashlyn Alexandra Fenton, were picked. We worked alongside Cari Ionson and Madeline McCracken to create a colouring book normalizing the conversation of consent for MRU students.

Since then, I’ve had a wonderful working relationship with Cari, helping assist on design collateral for other consent education pieces.

“Help at every stage” Illustration

This piece was created for the Dating, Domestic and Sexual Violence landing page on Mount Royal University’s website. We want to stay respectful and mindful of the environment we’re creating when students enter this space and convey the concept of resilience and inclusivity, all while sticking with the MRU brand.

Created in the Spring of 2022.
